Kid’s Church Focus:
“To teach children to be passionate followers of Christ” – Mission statement
Our aim is not only to see children come to know God, to accept God, and to attend Kids’ Church, but to also see the children become passionate followers of Christ! This will be our focus for Kid’s church throughout the year. We will be teaching what it looks like to be passionate followers of Christ.
Kids Church Sunday Services:
Services are run every Sunday (excluding school holidays). These services are aimed at ages 6-12 (prep to year 6). The service includes a time where all the children are in one group, doing songs, games, crafts, bible lessons & more. They are then split into two smaller groups for further teaching directed at their age brackets.
Leadership:
Ministry to children at Doncaster City Church is a high priority! At Kid’s Church we are extremely blessed to have a team of over 20 leaders who are all excited to do their part in working with children and teaching about Jesus Christ our Saviour.
All of our leaders aged 18 and over have obtained working with children checks. Each weekend there is a team of 5 leaders or more who run the program. The leaders have grown to work well together, combining one another’s skills and passions to make for great services.

One of the best things about kids church now is that the kids aren’t just getting taught bible stories, but how to really live as a Christian and what it means to be a Christian. It has been very rewarding for many of the leaders and parents who have seen their kids really develop a good understanding of who God is and how much He loves us.”
