Kids
1. Vision:
- Passionate Followers of Christ to emerge. Our aim is not only to see children come to know God, to accept God, and to attend kids’ Church, but to also see the children become passionate followers of Christ! This will be our focus for Kids’ Church throughout the year.
- Understand we have a simply powerful God. In line with the Church vision we
believe that the children can experience a powerful life, filled with miracles,
putting their trust in our miraculous Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
2. Scripture supporting Children’s ministry:
- Matthew 18:14 – Shows Christ expressing his heart that he wishes not one of these precious little children are lost.
- Mark 10:16 – Jesus even takes the time to bless the children.
3. Why Kids Church:
The Barna study indicates that
- Nearly half of all Americans who accept Jesus Christ as their Savoir do so before reaching the age of 13 (43%),
- Two out of three born again Christians (64%) made that commitment to Christ before their 18th Birthday.
- One out of eight born again people (13%) made their profession of faith while 18 to 21 years old.
- Less than one out of every four born again Christians (23%) embraced Christ after their twenty-first birthday.
4. Reaching Children:
- Services: are run every Sunday (Excluding school holidays). These services are aimed at ages 6-12 (prep to grade 6). The service includes a time where all the children are in one group, doing songs, games, crafts, bible lessons & more. They are then split into two small groups for further teaching directed at their age brackets.
- Guest Speakers: from Church will come down on occasions to share with the children. We are truly blessed to even have our Senior Pastor joining us.
- Connecting: with Crèche & Youth is a must for our children’s ministry. During the year we have event Sundays, where Crèche & youth join, so that the children can keep that fellowship attitude, knowing the broader family at church.
5. Leadership:
- We have a sound leadership: from long term leaders of over 10 years, to new leaders joining every year. It is exciting to see the team grow both in numbers and in knowledge.
- Core Leadership: is an exciting step forward for our children’s ministry. We have seen half of our leadership team stand up saying they want to invest extra time in children’s ministry, and so they shall be undergoing extra training produced by Harvest Bible College.

Simply Powerful
The great thing about Kid’s Church, is the fact that we are tuned into the church vision. While you’re hearing about supernatural God that we can turn to, our children are learning the exact same thing! Even better, the children love it & are getting involved!
