What to expect
It is sometimes not easy to visit a new church for the first time, so we want to be as helpful as we can, to make your experience a memorable one.
Worship
This is a personal time for you and God to communicate. We have a live worship band with upbeat praise and worship as well as providing for more intimate songs of worship. People worships in their own unique way – for many, that means singing & clapping, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You’re welcome to worship in a manner that you are comfortable with.
Offering
DCC is a very giving church. Each week we worship God with tithes and offerings. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular congregation, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives Doncaster City Church the means to reach more people for Christ in the future both in Australia and Internationally.
The Message (sermon)
Every weekend, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.
Communion
Once a month, we celebrate communion together. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you can participate in this time of reflection and prayer. The juice and bread we share represent the life Jesus gave up to forgiven our sins.
After the service
After the service feel free to stay and grab a cup of coffee or tea and chat with some of our church members. This is a great opportunity to get to know us and ask any questions you may have.
